I was born in Franklin County, raised in Atlanta, and spent 22 years in Raleigh, NC before returning to Lavonia. My first venture into real estate was in a Planned Unit Development (PUD) in Cary, NC, where I managed the sales office. When that was built out, I moved my license to Merrill Lynch, which later became Prudential Real Estate. While there I was consistently one of the top listing agents in the company. Upon moving to Franklin County in 1990, I was involved in remodeling homes and real estate sales. Upon receiving my brokers’ license, I opened my own company; built homes and developed a subdivision. I am a people person, and believe in treating everyone just as I would my own family. I enjoy helping first-time homebuyers achieve their dream of home ownership, helping retired persons locate their perfect retirement home, and working with investors. I have an associate degree in business and graduated from the School of Interior Design in Chicago. I have two grown sons and three grandchildren. As so often throughout my life, being the 11th child, my home is filled with friends and family. I still believe in the old virtues of truth, honesty, integrity, fair play and “if a job is worth doing, its worth doing well”
